Life has a funny way of leading you to people, and when it comes to people who have found me and my photography, it happens very often. I was actually working at my casual job this past winter when I met Jennifer and Kirsten. Editing my photos in my off time, they noticed and we struck up a conversation about how they had just moved here and love to take pictures of Easten and the family. It wasn't long before I'd end up being hired to do some fun family pictures, and I was looking forward to the experience!
Working with kids can always be a challenge for photographers, and I'll be one to admit, it's never been my forte, but with Easten having two funny, strong, and caring mothers, the shoot was some of the best smooth sailing that I've had for family photo sessions. Despite the rain and unpredictable weather at Kealia Boardwalk, we were able to pull through and create some of the best candid pictures that I took in 2019.
My home offers some of the best locations for family sessions, and I'm excited to use more of them for families looking to capture their favorite Maui moments.
